PCC
In the Church of England each parish has a Parochial Church Council (PCC) as its governing body. New members are elected onto the PCC each year and serve for a period of up to three years. Those serving on the PCC must be confirmed into the Anglican Church and be on the electoral roll of Holy Trinity. People holding certain posts are ex-officio members of the PCC. Ex-officio members are the Vicar, the Churchwardens, those involved in Reader Ministry, the treasurer and secretary.
The method of appointment of PCC members is set out in the Church Representation Rules. All church members are encouraged to register on the Electoral Roll and stand for election to the PCC.
The PCC operates a number of subcommittees including: Building Committee, Coffee Bar Committee, Evangelism Committee, Finance Committee, Missionary Committee, Standing Committee and Worship Committee.
