Embrace is an exciting event for men and women of all ages brought to you by World Vision UK.  Travelling around the UK, Embrace is an inspiring and memorable evening of worship, prayer and mission. —Saturday 21st  May Lara Martin and Lou Fellingham are bringing the EMBRACE TOUR to The Foundry Widnes

Saturday 21st  May  will bring women together for an inspiring and memorable evening. The evening will be a night of praise & worship, mission, prayer and the spoken word all beautifully woven together, and we will hear from Lara Martin about the amazing work of World Vision. . Embrace  hope that all those who attend will be refreshed, re-energised and feel able to meet with God in a heartfelt way.

Embrace will be hosted by World Vision Artist Ambassador Lara Martin who is best known for her songs ‘The Voice of Hope’ ‘God is Here’ and ‘Divine Exchange’ which are sung in congregations all across the world. She has made regular appearances on Songs of Praise and continues to equip churches through her role in The Kingdom Worship Movement.

God loves his people and hates injustice, poverty, sickness and fear. Through an evening of praise and worship, we aim to reveal God’s heart for the lost, praying for heaven to break out on earth.

During the evening, Lara will talk about the life-changing work of World Vision and show how they work to bring real hope to millions of children in the world’s hardest places as a sign of God’s unconditional love. An opportunity will also be given to sponsor with us and bring real hope to a real child.

World Vision was founded by Bob Pierce in 1950 on the words of a simple but powerful prayer, “Let my heart be broken by the things that break the heart of God”. This too is our prayer for the Embrace events. It’s our hope that all those who attend will be refreshed, re-energised and able to meet with God in a heartfelt way.

Velveta Thompson of Beracah Music who has toured extensively with Graham Kendrick and along with her husband founded ‘Casx’, (Creative Arts School of Excellence) a training programme which provides opportunities for parents and their children to develop creatively. And Cath Woolridge who is the director of Sound of Wales and is the worship leader at Glen Wood Church.

World Vision is the world’s largest international children’s charity their vision is to bring real hope to millions of children in the world’s hardest places as a sign of God’s unconditional love. To find out more about world vision or the artists involved in the Embrace Women’s Event,  or other dates and venues please follow the link to www.worldvision.org.uk.  Mor information about Lara can be found at  Lara Martins website  www.laramartin
