Kalliope Clarinets are a group of enthusiastic young musicians who enjoy playing a variety of exciting repertoire. Formed in 2013 at the Royal Northern College of Music, this colourful clarinet quartet plays a wide variety of genres which showcase the diversity of the clarinet. Kalliope aims to widen the horizons of the clarinet quartet repertoire, collaborate with new composers and share their passion for chamber music with their audiences. The quartet is fortunate to have performed in many venues across the North West including Whitworth Art Buxton Opera House, the Royal Northern College of Music, St Ann’s Church and Emmanuel Church. They were also finalists in the Trevor Wye Chamber Music Competition.
