The walking group are getting together again with people from St Ann’s to walk and talk on Sunday 7th May at 2.15pm. The walk will be in Appleton around the Dingle and Dingle Farm tea rooms.
We will meet on the grass verge on Dale Lane opposite Wood Lane
How do I get there: Take A56, Grappenhall Road from the central crossroads in Stockton Heath, turn right into Lumb Brook Road (by Bethesda Church), under the canal bridge and take next right into Bridge Lane and then next left into Dale Lane. Wood Lane is 4 roads down. Park either on Dale Lane or Wood Lane.
How much walking: About two hours, with a refreshment break about 3/4 of the way round. But there is an option to take an early cup of tea and miss out the second part of the Dingle.
Wear strong shoes/boots or wellies as it can be muddy after rain and the path is rough with tree roots etc in places.
