Janet Lazarus has flat pack shoe boxes from Operation Christmas Child  again for this year’s Christmas appeal.

As Holy Trinity is temporarily at Bold Street Methodist, we don’t have the
storage space to aim for 100 shoe boxes this year! Janet has some
supplies, collected over the year, as a basis for about 20/30 boxes.
Please note that we are no longer allowed to send sweets or toothpaste
in the boxes.
Thank you for your continued support for this very special cause.

You can contribute this year in various ways:

1.Fill the box yourself with your gifts. Add a ‘wow’ item such as a doll, cuddly toy or deflated football with pump. Now fill your shoebox with a selection of fun toys, hygiene items and school supplies. See our Gift Suggestions below for more ideas. , suitable for a child aged 10 to 14, stick the boy/girl label on the box, and bring it into church.  Please give the £3 shipping donation to Janet Lazarus (we will send all the donations electronically together)
2. You can donate gifts for a child aged 10 to 14 and we will fill the shoe box for you.
3. You can donate some money  to enable Janet to fill the boxes and cover the costs of Transport. Please give the money either to Janet or to Ann Mitchell.

4. You can personalise your shoebox by including a hand written note and a photograph of yourself, your group or your family. You may also like to pray for the child that will receive your gift.

Due to storage space issues with the closure of our building, please hang on any boxes you fill until we are ready to send them all at the beginning of November. Hopefully, by that time we might be back in church building by then! Check with Janet when she would like you to give them to her.
