The Parish Weekend at Beechwood Court Conway was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Helen Franklin was our speaker for the weekend with the theme ” Who do you think you are?”. Helen encouraged us to look at some of the people in our christian family tree. Our sessions were ‘Preachers of the word’, ‘People of prayer and ‘Jars of clay’ and they inspired us to think about how could make Jesus know to others. Thanks also to Janet who led the children’s sessions with assistance from Averil.
Thanks to AG who arranged our table tennis tournament, which was won by Simon, and for being the compare for the evenings entertainment . It was great that so many people participated and made it such an enjoyable evening.
