Town Centre Churches Cluster ( St Elphins, St Barnabas, Holy Trinity and St Ann’s) are having an Away Day on Saturday 1st June 2019.
This year we will be visiting the National War Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire. The Arboretum is an evolving, maturing woodland landscape featuring 30,000 trees and a vast collection of memorials. The 150-acre site is a living, growing tribute to those who have served and continue to serve our country.
There is a lot to do – check out the national arboretum website for information.
The cost will be £12.00 which covers the coach, a donation to the Arboretum and a tip for the driver.
Setting off and return times are to be arranged but we would aim to be at the Arboretum for the Daily Act of Remembrance which starts at 11.00 a.m.
Shirley is taking names and money! for this very special visit – if you would like to go please don’t delay in letting her know.
