WACIDOM (previously known as Warrington Arts Council Initiative for the Development of Music)
arranges free lunchtime concerts  on Saturday mornings in Holy Trinity. The concerts start at 12.30 pm and last for approximately 45 minutes.  The programme is largely classical music and is always of an excellent standard.

WACIDOM started arranging free lunchtime recitals on a regular basis in 2000, and now there are usually about 25 recitals per year. They are normally given by students of Music Colleges (or recent graduates) or gifted local musicians.

Currently it arranges approx. 25 recitals per year and has built up a regular audience of at least 40 and sometimes up to 80.

The recitals benefit the musicians by giving them a platform on which to perform and also the audience by providing a high quality product with easy access in the centre of Warrington.

A new Grand Piano was purchased in 2009 through grants from The Coalfields Regeneration Trust and Grassroots.. The recitals are funded by donations received through retiring collections. To maintain them will require further funding. With that in mind, WACIDOM continually looks for sponsorship and grants to safeguard the recitals into the future.
