Welcome to Holy Trinity Church Warrington

Holy Trinity is a Church of England church, in the Diocese of Liverpool.
Whoever you are, and whatever your background, we would love to welcome you to join us in worshiping God. Here are details of our Sunday Services, we hope you find us warm, friendly and welcoming.

Coronavirus

Following the statement from the Prime Minister on Monday 23rd March 2020, all public worship and church activities are to be paused until further notice.

Your Church will continue to pray for and serve our community. We will also be continuing to Worship our Lord in new ways as the Church of England develops digital and other worship resources.

As the Archbishops say in their letter "Being a part of the Church of England is going to look very different in the days ahead. Our life is going to be less characterised by attendance at church on Sunday, and more characterised by the prayer and service we offer each day. We may not be able to pray with people in the ways that we are used to, but we can certainly pray for people. And we can certainly offer practical care and support."

Rev Shirley Cowan is the Vicar of Holy Trinity and St Ann's

Shirley has significant  experience in ministry and community. As a former teacher, she has a heart for  schools ministry and has been an active governor of a local school. She is committed to the agenda of helping the church to make a bigger difference and has been actively involved in church community initiatives such as Street Pastors and Debt Counselling.

Our vision is to be a church where all who come are shown the new life on offer in Jesus. We want to glorify God and reflect the love of Jesus in Warrington Town Centre. We preach from the Bible and sing songs that remind us of biblical truths, like forgiveness, grace, salvation, and the majesty of Jesus.

Holy Trinity affirms the Biblical teaching that Jesus Christ sacrificed himself on the cross for all people. This means -

We are a church for everyone  and welcome people from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures to all our services and events.

You can find out more about our ministries here on our website including our Mid- Week events, and  Coffee Bar  which is open every morning except Thursday and Sunday. We also have a leaflet with lots of helpful information about our church, what we do on a Sunday and through the week.
