To celebrate world book day we had a visit from some of the pre-school children at Kid’s Planet Nursery.
Janet told the story of the wise and foolish house builders from Mathew 7:24-26. In this story the foolish man builds his house on sand and when the rain comes his house falls down. The wise man built his house on the rock and when the rain came his house stood firm.
Jesus says ’I am like the clever man’s rock . If you trust in me I will never let you down’
After this the children enjoyed hunting around the church to find daffodils totake back to nursery to celebrate the start of spring. We look forward to seeing them again soon for more stories and fun.
