Kalliope Clarinets are a group of enthusiastic young musicians who enjoy playing a variety of exciting repertoire. Formed in 2013 at the prestigious Royal Northern College of Music, this colourful clarinet quartet plays a wide variety of genres which showcase the diversity of the clarinet. Kalliope aims to widen the horizons of the clarinet quartet repertoire, collaborate with new composers and share their passion for chamber music with their audiences.The quartet are fortunate to have performed in many venues across the North West, including Whitworth Art Gallery, Buxton Opera House, the Royal Northern College of Music and as part of the Lake District Summer Music Festival. They also work with schools and music services to provide educational and fun workshops for children.
